Al Tamman Indsil FerroChrome (ATIFC)

ATIFC is a joint venture between Muscat Overseas Group (Oman) and Indsil Group (India). The company was setup to tap the potential of chrome ore reserves in Oman through an upstream facility to manufacture value-added products.

ATIFC production plant is located at the Sohar Free Zone, and connected to international markets via the Port of Sohar. The facility sets numerous benchmarks for sustainability initiatives – like near-100% recovery of water used in production, use of renewable energy, and recycling of by-products.
